a. Sovereignty: May be defined as the exercise of His supremacy (Isaiah 46:10; Eph.1:11). Sovereignty has been described by C.H. Spurgeon as the doctrine of: The Master over all creation; The Kingship of God over all the works of His hands; The throne of God and His right to sit upon that throne (Men will allow God to be everywhere except on His throne. And we proclaim an enthroned God, and His right to do as He pleases with His own. . . . Psa.135:6; 115:2-3).
